The method was developed back in 1929 in the state of Iowa.
The first machine was developed over 65 years ago.
Anywhere concrete is subjected to freezing, thawing, and concentrated flooding will have a tendency to create voids around and beneath the slab causing slab failure.
Since Mudjacking was developed it has proven to be a cost effective and time efficient way of restoring slabs back to their proper level.
Mudjacking has been proven to be a cost saving, time efficient, way to restore your concrete. Slabs can become uneven from water not channeled properly along with just natural settling of earth. Overtime voids form around and below the slabs.
Mudjacking simply fills the voids and raises the slab back to order. Its accomplished by simply drilling small 2 inch holes in the necessary locations to access the voids. Then a hydraulic machine pumps a slurry mix of lime, topsoil, and sand into the hole to fill the void and raise the concrete back into place.
After optimal level has been reached, the concrete will be washed clean and all holes will be patched to match. The cure time for consistent pressure, such as parking on it, is only 24 hours. Within 1 hour upon completion you will be able to walk and even drive across the area worked on.
